Swirlydoos August Kit

Hi everyone!! Sorry for not posting for awhile. I have been kinda busy and lazy to blog. Busy organising my scrapping goodies, making rooms for the new CHA stuff. I have seen some sneak peeks of the new goodies and all of them are super gorgeous!! Can't wait to play with them!!
Especially those from Prima.... omgosh.. the new blooms and pattern papers are beautiful!! I'll be placing a pre-order with scrap-tastic and hope to receive them asap!!

Today my August kit from Swirlydoos arrived, again another beautiful kit. I actually already have most of the papers but its ok..... those papers are double sided so I don't have a problem in choosing which side to use.... I have both... Yay!!

Here is the pictures of the goodies in the kit.

I also finished a few journals awhile ago, they were inspired by Marion from her "Live with Prima" and "apieceofcraft" Ustreams

This 1 below is very fun to create...... using some Prima paintables and some water-color papers to create a mini art journal...... you can view the Ustream by searching under Prima - Mini art journal.

on the cover, I used a Prima felt gate ontop of a paintable.....and Prima flowers!!

This is another watercolor art Journal.....the paper used for the front and back covers are from Prima the watercolor collection.

I learned to make this from one of Marion's class from "apieceofcraft" Ustream.....

I added a antique watch dial on the cover with some of Tim Holtz products.

This is the binding and its call "coptic stitch"....... There are also other tutorials you can find on Youtube.... just search for coptic stitch or coptic binding.......

Thank you for dropping by and wish all a wonderful weekend!! Happy doing everything!! :D

Swirlydoos May Kit

Hi there!! I am always looking forward to receiving my Swirlydoos monthly kit. It never disappointed me and always arrive on time. The kit was put together with much thoughts as usual, just love it.
This month kit is a Musical Theme, how nice is that...... Life would be boring without music.....

If you would like to have more details of this kit, please visit them at http://www.swirlydoos.com/ There you'll find the past month kits listed as well.

Here are the papers, some of them are double sided.....

Stickers and embellishments

Here is something new I would like to share, its the Zutter Kutter. It came to the local store here on last Friday, when I saw it on their web, I had to get it. I have seen the demo on Youtube and it seems good.

I have been looking for a good cutter that cuts chipboard, I have the fiskars trimmer which cuts only papers and the blade gets blunt pretty fast.......

I also have a Carl cutter which cut chipboard but have it for quite awhile now and thought its time to get a new and really good 1...... Yay!!!!

Thank you for dropping by and hope everyone has a wonderful day and to all the scrappy friends, have a great scrappy day!!!!!! :D

Bye!!!
