Basic Grey "JUNE BUG" papers....

Hi there, haven't posted for a few days now, have been busy with houseworks, I am so hooked to scrapbooking that I am actually neglecting houseworks, hahaha.

My dear husband was in Asia for a week and he stopped by Singapore for a few days to visit my family and to do some shopping for me. There are a few scrapbook stores especially the 1 in Plaza Singapura called "Madewithlove". It carries alot of brands and add new arrival on every Thursday, item get sold out quick though. Here is the web, http://www.madewithlove.com.sg/. And here my dear husband brought me the latest collection from Basic Grey "June Bug". I was so happy, this is the first time that I received a new line so quick, normally have to wait like 10days till I see my stuff. :) Sooo excited. I posted some close up too, just a few. I also found an online store from Singapore, http://www.scrapbookingcove.com/, so I put together an order and have them sent to my mom and my dear husband picked them up, save on shipping cost and buy more scrappy goodies :)....

These June Bug pattern papers are very pretty, the Doilies papers are gorgeous.

Bad luck....

Hi everybody, I have recieved my ATG glue gun and the Bosskut Gazelle this morning. Should I be happy? Of course!!!! I was sooo happy when the package arrived but .... when I open up the carton, I go OMG!!!!!! Look below at the photos, and you will know why...

Look at this..........T.T"

I also have other stuff in there, including this empty bottle supposed to be the Black embossing powder. I guessed they didn't pack it properly, the powder was everywhere and everycorner of everything. Can you imagine the mess I have. It took me almost 2 hours to clean them up and not 100% clean. I have rubber stamps and flowers and the ATG refill gold tape, see how much these powder can stick to them. I couldn't smile even the die cutter is standing infront of me.
What to do? Just my luck. Should I lodge a complaint? What does that help? It will not make the mess disappear nor fill up the bottle. I could LOL now while posting this. Hahahaha.... bad luck.
Off studying the die cutter.
Thank you for your time and have a wouderful day.

Received some more stuff...

Hi everybody, I was expecting my package from Scrapbook.com but instead I received the package from Bluemoonscrapbooking. And these are what came in there. Some more pattern papers, some more Tim Holtz stuff and ribbons, fibre, embellishments etc....

These 6pcs of papers and borders are freebies that came in the package. :)
1 other parcel came too and its my skin care.
This La prairie caviar crystalline concentre is new. I received a sample few weeks ago and tried it out, it was not bad, it gives radiant to the face, but the price is not so nice.... Anyhow, it feels good on the skin so I guess that is more important or I would say its worth.
Wish everybody a wonderful weekend.

New Layout

Hi everybody, I am still busy stocking up my scrapbooking stuff, can never get enough of them. Ordering online take up alots of time and waiting for them to arrive is frustrating. Scrapbooking is not so popular here in Switzerland, when people asked me what I am doing during my freetime, I told them "scrapbooking" and they go "Huh???" omg. :)
I have just finished this layout for a challenge, my very first challenge. The photos on this layout were taken in Japan when we have our vacation there last August. The girl in the photo is my niece. The theme of this challenge needs to have something wavy, and this sunflower maze is filled with curvy and wavy route, so I thought this might match.
Most of the products used here are from Prima, I would say 90% :)

Here are some close-ups.

I painted the word "maze" in yellow fabric paint and embossed them with UTEE and then distressed with dark brown ink. The embossing technique is 1 I learned from Marion from apieceofcraft.com.
Thank you for dropping by, have a wonderful day. Please leave a comment before you depart, I would appreciate it very much. Your comments mean alot to me. Thank you.

Graphic 45 papers and My Scrap-space...

Hi everybody, these graphic 45 pattern papers are so so cool and chic. The postman delivered 2 parcels this morning and I was thrilled to see these paper in real life. OMG they are just pretty. I have kinda gone crazy, I couldn't stop ordering. Since I came back in late March, I have been ordering scrapbooking stuff, and just couldn't stop. There are so many things that I need.... or I like. Every week, there is at least 1 or 2 boxes arrived, I think I am crazy. Luckily, my sweet husband, as usual, is ok with everything I buy. I feel so lucky.
I also posted a few shots of my scrap-space, part of it, b'c0s I am in the midst of cleaning up the room to make more space for the stuff that are coming in. Hopefully to get it done as soon as possible.

This is where I scrap on this long table with 2 laptops, a printer and I also leave space for a craft cutter (still deciding on which 1 to go for, most likely the BossKut Gazelle).
Does anybody know of a good brand?

Most, if not all, of the flowers are in this drawer.
Thank you for dropping by and have a great day.

The 2 Bs - Bind-It-All and Binderie...

Hi everybody, wow, we are already in June!!! half of the year is gone. Well time flies. Anyway, I have my new tools that at least is keeping me away from my bad hay-fever. The Zutter Bind-It-All and the 7-gypsies Binderie. No regret for getting these 2, they are awesome. The Binderie is so cool, batteries operated, without any effort simply press the button and it punches thru the chipboard. The BIA v0.2 comes in a nice pink color, I like that, still trying to get familiar with it. My first bind was not very nicely done, I guess I used too much strength, will be more gentle next time.

Thanks for dropping by. Have a wonderful day.
