More Scrapping Goodies.......

Hi there, I arrived in Singapore on Wednesday and still recovering from my jetlag. This is why I haven't been able to blog.
I am very happy to see my family again, I was here in Jan to early March but I still miss them alot whenever I am back in Switzerland. And of course I miss the local foods as well. Hehehe.

The "Madewithlove" scrapbook store here is having a promotion. For a certain amount of purchase made in June entitle you to a 40% discount on products that you can stuff into their specially made suitcase in the month of July. Thats not a bad deal. Since I have bought quite alot of products from them last month by my Husband when he was here, so I have three 40% discount suitcase. :)

Everything here is imported mainly from the States and some other countries, therefore the retail prices is almost 3x more expensive.

Here is the first suitcase of goodies which I bought...... but the deal still can't beat those in the States even with the discount. Well, its better than nothing....

I already have tons of prima flowers but just can't resist it, they are just sooooo beautiful and I will surely use them. LOL

Here are some pattern papers from Basic Grey "Lemonade" and other brands. Most of the Lemonade papers and matching stickers are already sold out.

I admit, I am a shopaholic....Hehe. :) Seeing the goodies in real life increases the urge to buy.
Thank you for spending your precious time here and I hope you enjoy the goodies as well. Have a great weekend.

Sizzix Big Shot...

Hi everybody, here is my Big Shot from Sizzix that I purchased from Scrapbook.com. It was here last week but I didn't post it because I didn't have time to try it out untill yesterday and I'll like to share this experience. It cuts almost all dies from other brands as well with the help of the multipurpose platform that came with it. I have tried dies from Quickut and Spellbinder and it cuts. It cuts chipboard too, I am sooooo glad :) that I am able to have my own custom mini album!!!!!!

Here is the multipurpose platform and a pair of cutting mat that came with the Big Shot.

These Bigz Dies cut chipboard and I tried them with 1.5mm thick chipboard and it worked.

This measures 4x4"

This is the thickness of the chipboard that I tried. (1.5mm)

These are the dies from other brands.
I have ordered some more Bigz Dies and they are on the way. I can only try that out when I am back from my trip in August.
I have the Gazelle and this Big Shot and I love both. I haven't tried out everything on the Gazelle yet, the only thing I can say is that it cuts images/any fonts to any sizes you want.
I hope this little experience help for those who has intention of buying a Big Shot. It really cut neatly.
Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day. :)

Quick updates....

Hi everybody, haven't had time to blog. But, I just want to quick share some of the stuff that came yesterday and a few days ago.

These cardstocks are from core'dinations. They are very new to me, haven't tried out any. This pad consists of a mixture of very pretty colors like different shades of green, blue, pink, red, purple etc.... and the quality is good, its thick.

Some more Tim Holtz metal embellishments, they are really cool.

These stamps are from Hero Arts, I ordered them from 2peas, the stamps quality are really good and easy to use. I am a new stamper and have no problem using them.

These 2 sets of clear stamps are also Hero Arts and are free gifts with purchase. The promotion is still on at 2peas.

I bought this from 2peas as well to use with the Big Hero Arts stamp, the reason is the ink pad is big so getting the ink onto the big stamp is so much quicker.

New flower vines from Prima, I just love their vines, so I order these to see how they look in real life. They are alittle different from the older 1, smaller, but of course still very pretty.

Some more Webster Pages papers and trims/laces. I ordered these directly from Websterspages.com They are very thick cardstock pattern papers.

Journalling Cards from Websters Pages.
Thank you for dropping by and have a great day. Need to rush to finish my July trade album.

Some Updates

Hi there, I am working on my July trading album, its my first mini, I have to make sure its good and that my trading partner will like it. And need to hurry too. I will be leaving on the 14th to Singapore and be back around early Aug. So will not be able to dress up my GGS July kit. Oh dear.
I am also looking for chipboard albums from the brand Toga, they have very nice chip album. So tmr, got to get up early to go to Zurich to check on this store, see if they carry the albums. Hope the shop is open.

Ok, here are just some random updates of past days.
Cleaning up the room to make ways for new stuff. Its very messy right now, there are stuff lying on the floor and I can't work properly in a mess, I know I am difficult.

1st July,
On Wednesday, I have a parcel that contain sweet stuff to be sent to the State, so asked my husband to bring it to the post office. But due to whatever reasons (concerning FDA), I am not gonna elaborate here cos its a long long story, the parcel couldn't get sent out. I was really really upset. Hai....
Since my dear husband had to spent quite awhile in the post office, he browsed around and bought me this iPhone. :) Haha, at least something to make me smile. LOL.

Thank you for dropping by, Have a great weekend and to all the GGS Ladies in the State, have a wonderful 4th July. Enjoy!!!!

Loving it, the elephant is so cute. Thank you Marion. Right now, alots of ideas are coming up my mind, but might have to delay in putting the kit together. Anyway, my July trading album is prior to anything. Need to finish it asap. I am going away for 2 weeks. Most likely leaving 2nd week of July so need to hurry.....
